| blarg? so yeah, reactivated my xanga site, if you can call it that. i
was in serious meditation last night deciding whether or not to
completely delete xanga. i just decided that i would transfer all of my
stuff from myspace to here, just to save time (and money).
fun "happenings"....hmm... well for starters
i was driving home the other night at 1:30 after playing an amazingly
fun and addicting game of Mafia over at Garret's house. I chose to take
the road less traveled and ended up driving down chambers road to go
home. I came to one of the many unforgiving turns on that road, if you
drive like i do, and lo and behold.... A DEER!
Now, i know what you are thinking, you must be
like...*in scottish accent*"oh it is but a wee lil' deer." Wrong, this
doe was beastly. Before this incident, i did have some sort of respect
for deer, actually giving them credit for being smart in some
situations. All of that was soon to change. I could see the sillouette
of the deer on the shoulder of the road, lying in ambush for its
unsuspecting prey *my poor,defenseless car* Acting like I didnt notice
it, this monsterous doe bounded out in front of my car . i could have
sworn, as i slammed on my breaks and shook my fist violently into the
air, that this deer was mocking me... its tounge was sticking out! I
was a little shaken by the incident, for the deer was almost the
victor. As i came to the stop sign at dutchtown, i realized that the
little voice you hear inside (hmmmmm God mebbe?) had kind of laid it on
my heart that i needed to slow down. What if i hit a small child ?(not
that there should be any of those roaming the streets at this hour)
but the point is still a valid one, i needed to slow down. Had i been
going as fast as i was earlier(a mere 60 mph), i would have hit the deer, which would
have been quite a sad event if i do say so myself.
so there! my first official rant on xanga in forever. enjoy?
